I also like how I can remap controls per game in the pi. My pi 3b+ runs those three arcade versions really well (just some audio crunch here and there). Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and ultimate are huge for me, and no Pandora’s box handles them (the 6 claims to, but they’re really the PlayStation 1 versions). I noticed similar issues in a few other games. Playing X-men on the Pandora’s box had occasional layers in the wrong order (so something that was supposed to be behind something else was now in front of it), there were other graphical issues here and there, and it fully crashed on me once while simply walking across the screen. My reasoning was that the emulation on the Pandora’s box was better than nothing, but not as good as RetroPie. I actually gutted my official Pandora’s box 5 (one of the ones with arcade controls) and replaced the insides with a pi.
